Caring for Leather
Caring for leather is not too difficult. Try to avoid activities That wil completely submerge your leather products in water (like swimming while your dog is wearing their leather collar). If one of your items does get wet, blot dry with a clean rag or cloth and let air dry. Once dry, treat it with a high quality leather conditioner.
If an item gets particularly dirty, the same rules apply. Remove the dirt and debris with clean rag. Blot dry if needed. Use a little saddle soap to clean your products and follow up the cleaning with a leather conditioner.
Outside of these circumstances condition and clean your leather products on an as-needed bases. Probably no more than once or twice a year.
Some of our favorite leather care products are from Chamberlain’s Leather Milk. Their products are made in the USA and they are family owned and operated. You can purchase their products from their website or from Amazon, whichever you prefer.
